For more than a decade, the Yieldbridge team has worked alongside First Nations communities to develop community-based aquaculture and aquaponics. That work — anchored by 25+ years of land-based operations at Lois Lake and the premium Lois Lake Steelhead brand — now carries its own name and identity: Grease Trail.
Grease Trail builds contained, land-based recirculating aquaculture (RAS) that communities own, restoring local food production and transferring decades of operating expertise. Its mission, the story behind the name, and the Lois Lake flagship are told in full on its own site.
